The average guy in gyms across the world seem to only focus on how to get ripped arms and build a bigger chest. While this is a mistake that how to get ripped armsoften leads to over training and injury, I can clearly understand why. The arms are the only visible muscles while fully dressed in a short sleeve shirt that is. By the way, what woman wouldn't want to hang on to the well developed and ripped arm of her partner?
Too many guys that don't know the secrets on how to get ripped arms that I'm about to share with you will continue to go about it all wrong by not performing the proper exercise routines, using strict form and fail to see the results they deserve.
Here are the secrets on how to get ripped arms fast:
#1. Eating right - Your diet must include the right muscle building foods consisting of quality proteins that give your body exactly what it needs to build ripped muscle without fat.
Your chances of getting ripped arms are slim to none if a strict getting ripped diet is not included in the process that minimizes sugar and carbohydrate intake on a daily basis.
#2. Full body workouts - A big mistake made by many is to only focus on building big arms and chest muscles and neglecting other muscle groups.
Your arms are made up of really small muscles that do not require as many reps or sets as other muscle groups need to grow and get ripped quick.
Keep in mind that whenever you train the larger muscles like your back, chest and legs, your arms play a major roll in performing the exercise which forces the arms to grow and get stronger in the process. So directly training the arms often will in no way help you get huge biceps but may lead to over training and cause serious injury.
#3. The right exercises to get ripped arms - If you really want to shock your arms and get them pumped so tight that they feel unreal - try supersetting. Supersets are when you perform two or more exercises back to back with no rest periods in between on the same muscle group for maximum results. For example, do a set of preacher curls then immediately doing a set of in close bench presses for the triceps.
Below are a few very effective exercises to get ripped arms:
(1) Superset Parallel bar dips or Tricep push downs with Incline bicep curls
(2) Superset Tricep Extensions with Seated bicep curls
Here are some important guidelines to follow:
Tempo - for the above exercises, you should follow a 3-0-2 tempo. This means you would lower the weight in 3 seconds and immediately change directions and lift for 2 seconds.
Number of Sets - 10
Number of Reps - 10
Rest Interval - 90 seconds in between each set
Frequency - twice a week mixed with your regular routine
#4. Adequate rest/recovery - It never fails to amaze me when I meet someone who is unaware muscles grow when you are resting not while you are working out. You should not be working out more than you are resting and recovering.
Focus your efforts on working out 3 days a week and resting the other 4. Be sure to keep your workout sessions under 1 hour. Your muscles grow during a good night sleep not in the gym, so get in and get out and go rest if you want to get a ripped body and build muscle fast. Less is better when it comes to getting ripped but the majority of people fail to realize it.
